Music Theatre & Opera Intensive

July 28 – August 3    10AM  to 4pm Jr. div.  10AM to 6PM  Sr.Div.

Vocal Coaching (Music Theatre and Classical), Opera and Music Theatre Audition Skills, Dance (Ballet and Jazz), Acting (Monologues: Classical and Contemporary, Basic Acting), Music Theatre Repertoire & “Building your Book”, Business of the Business (pictures, resumes, unions, managers & agents), Opera/Classical Repertoire, “ Life Skills” for the Performing Artist, etc.

Three Divisions - Middle School Student prepare for Special Schools Auditions, the High School Student to prepare for Conservatory Auditions in Colleges and Universities, and the Conservatory Graduate or Under-Grad  to prepare for auditions for Young Artist Programs and the Professional Arena.

MISSION STATEMENT: To provide classical vocal training (as well as Acting and Dance), as a necessary base for all singers, regardless of their final goal, in order to insure vocal health and longevity.  In today’s music world, this is of the utmost importance.  We also help the student acquire focus, discipline, and confidence, as well as needed skills, while doing what they love.  Our teaching applies the most current information neurologically, the “cutting edge” of maximizing brain capability.  We must not limit the gifted child to what they are getting in the schools.

On the final day, all enrolled will receive immediate feedback from a Panel of Faculty, Casting Agents, and Music theatre and Opera Professionals, in an Audition Situation.  Learn what the people on the other side of the table really think. This day will be open to family and friends, based on space.
